Saturday morning will be busy at the Bluffs with three separate community projects, and your help will be greatly appreciated. On November 16 starting at 9am:
- LIA (Lordship Improvement Association) Bluffs & Beach Clean-Up. Help us pick up trash that others have rudely tossed over the ridge, and left on the beach. Wear boots and gloves. Garbage bags provided. Students receive community service hours (bring worksheet).
- Eagle Scout Service Project. Charlie Welch will lead youth and adults to install 600' of Drift Fencing (supplied by the LIA) to help build the dunes at Russian Beach. Help is needed to unroll and wire the fence in place and conduct an area cleanup. Dress for the weather and bring work gloves and eye protection. Students receive community service hours.
- LIA Daffodil Replenish Project. 200 daffodils will be planted in each of two small beds designated by flags, between Spruce and Laurel Streets.
