Spring Cleanup at Lordship's Beach Drive Circular Garden (at the Seawall)

Updated: May 15

On a bright sunny morning last Saturday, Lordship Improvement Association (LIA) volunteers ushered spring into this popular circular garden (one of 8 that are maintained by the LIA) and the nearby bench area overlooking the Seawall and Long Island Sound.

Led by Garden Captain Alanna Regan, volunteers Cheryl and John Hewitt pulled out weeds, planted marigolds and flowering vines – and dispersed 8 bags of mulch. Note: the nautical poles in the center of the garden rotted out over the winter and were removed.

Enjoy the story about this garden’s creation:

Thanks, volunteers! And thank YOU for your support of the LIA’s Lordship beatification projects.
