The Lordship Improvement Association’s (LIA) quarterly Committee Meeting - open to the public for LIA committee reports, and old and new business - will be held March 26 at the Lordship Father’s Club Clubhouse, 21-1/2 Prospect Drive (next to the Firehouse), from 7 to 8pm. Agenda: https://bit.ly/AgendaMarch26Committees
Also, Christine Griffin, chair of the LIA’s Environmental & Education Committee asks walkers on the Lordship Bluffs to be mindful of new daffodils that were planted in two areas near the ridge line last fall. Older daffodils, planted more than 50 years ago are showing green growth now, too. Many more have migrated down the slope. And the company that is contracted to mow the Bluffs pledges to mow around the plants.
Christine also reports that the Trial Pollinator Garden in the habitat area at the foot of Laurel Street was groomed last week, and that Nepeta and some bulbs are showing growth.
