2024 is the Lordship Improvement Association’s 100th year of serving Lordship residents – and in appreciation of your tremendous support we invite you to celebrate this big anniversary with us on Sunday (June 23), from 4pm to sunset on the Bluffs!
Come for a hot dogs & hamburgers cookout, pot luck dessert contest, corn hole tournament, kids games, historical displays and more. And enjoy the Lordship Fathers Club’s Bands on the Bluffs with Keltic Kick at 6pm. BYOB plus chairs and blankets to sit on. Vehicle and golf cart parking is available on the Margherita Lawn esplanade, but space might be tight so please consider walking to the event. See you there!
PS: Also join us Sunday at 11am for the dedication of the town park at the Lordship Seawall to be named the Donald S. Sammis Park. A Lordship resident, Mr. Sammis was chairman of the Stratford Town Council from 1921-1927 and Town Manager from 1932-1934. He was also a long-time trustee of the waterfront property today known as the Lordship Bluffs, preserving it as a park for Lordship residents.
