CONGRATULATIONS to all recipients of the Stratford Beautification Commission's 2023 BEAUTIFICATION AWARDS! Presented at Town Hall on Sept. 21, the awards recognized outstanding gardens and landscapes. Among recipients was WAYNE'S WALK Memorial Garden, newly designed and maintained by the Lordship Improvement Association (LIA).
The 4-season garden of colorful shrubs and flowers delights walkers, joggers and beach-goers who use the curving paved shortcut there between Lordship's Riverdale Drive to the town's Short Beach.
